Revealed: The world’s most popular engagement ring
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend and Pinterest is the place to find the inspiration for the perfect ring.
Women spend hours looking over photos on the popular visual bookmarking website getting ideas for everything wedding related.
From the dress, to the invitations, flowers and of course the engagement ring.
And one ring rules them all with a huge 103,900 saves, making it the most popular engagement ring on the site.
The ring belongs to Sylvia Billone and is Art Deco in style, custom made especially for her.
“The solitaire ring is 1.22 carats with a two-millimetre-width rose gold band,” Sylvia revealed online.
Sylvia, who didn't reveal the price of the ring, also went on to explain that she had the ring custom-made after garnering inspiration from other images she spotted on Pinterest.
“Some of the more recent trends we have seen at Larsen Jewellery include a significant increase in the popularity of rose gold,” jeweller Kate Reid tells Be.

“Rose gold is not only beautiful to look at but it is also quite flattering on a variety of different skin tones. It can bring a vintage element of warmth when paired with white gold designs.”
The rose gold number has taken the reigns from an 18-carat white gold ring from Raymond Lee Jewellers, which had over 77,000 pins in August last year and was named most popular.
According to Pinterest, the world's most popular bridesmaid dress is a simple Lace Illusion Neckline Dress by Camille La Vie and has been pinned 170,000 times.
