Newlyweds Pippa and James Matthews have been spied Down Under – in Sydney, no less!

On the back of her glamorous $15K a night honeymoon stay in French Polynesia, it seems the new Mrs Matthews has touched down for a spot of sightseeing right here in Australia.

"Just bumped into Pippa Middleton," Twitter user @stevenbeale01 posted to his account on Wednesday.

Speaking to Be, the Sydney resident later confirmed he had spotted the couple as he was walking to work just after 8am, spying the newlyweds under the Harbour Bridge.

And it seems the new bride, who was famously fit for her recent wedding, has kept up her health routine, with Steve saying he thought the couple were with a “personal trainer”.

Pippa and James had previously been pictured holidaying in French Polynesia, near Tahiti, enjoying their escape to pure paradise.

According to The Mirror, the couple were honeymooning at a romantic eco-resort in the French Polynesian Islands.

It was thought that the pair would be heading back to the UK after their week on the island, however it now appears that the loved-up duo’s honeymoon is continuing Down Under.

Pippa and James were caught on camera by 7News getting onbarod a water taxi outside the exclusive Park Hyatt hotel, where the most expensive room costs a whopping $19,000 per night.

They are belived to be heading to Sydney's idyliic Rose Bay for lunch with pals and tonight they will no doubt take in the sights of the Vivid festival, possibly from the balcony of their hotel.

Pippa showed off a striking resemblance to her sister as she dressed for the ocassion in a pretty black and white striped dress and covered up in a black cardigan.

A passerby told the Daily Telegraph that the duo acted exaclty how you would expect newlyweds would, lovingly gazing at each other.

“They looked very much in love and kept giving each other loving glances even whilst talking to friends," the source said.

Their trip Down Under comes after the pair wed in a lavish ceremony in Berkshire on May 20.

The star-studded affair featured Prince George and Princess Charlotte as page boy and bridesmaid and saw Kate Middleton act as maid-of-honour.

For the reception, the whole bridal party and Pippa and James’ 300 guests headed to the Middleton’s family home, where a $170,000 glass marquee was set up in the sprawling grounds.
