German-born Johanna first competed when she was 10-years-old and hasn’t stopped.

Confessing that she continues her gymnastics routine to help protect her against falls in her old age, the plucky nonagenarian has still got a ridiculous amount of go in her.

“My proudest moment so far was when I was 84 years old and there was no one in my age group competing in the championships,’ she told The Strait Times.

“So they put me with the others in the 70-75 age group and I still won by one point.”

Johanna, who has three kids and also played competitive handball, still trains every day for an hour, and eats a healthy diet of lots of fruits and veg.

Cartwheels are no problem for Johanna, who also does somersaults, headstands and dives fearlessly about the parallel bars as part of her routine.

“My face is old but my heart is young. Maybe the day I stop doing gymnastics is the day I die,” she said.
