Illustration of a bunny goes viral for a rude reason

A Japanese illustration has gone viral on Twitter because viewers spotted something very rude.

It’s an innocent image showing a rabbit washing its hands – presumably a sign used in public toilets to encourage people to wash their hands.

But instead people have described seeing something completely different, and once you spot it, it’s hard to see it any other way.

Because the water in the sink is the same colour as the background, and the sink looks like it could be the bunny’s legs – viewers thought he was washing a completely different body part.

Twitter user @Yoshi_10pa admitted that because they have a “dirty mind” they mistook the image as depicting the rabbit with his legs spread and tending to his private parts.

“I’ve proved I have a dirty mind,” one user said in response.

Others couldn’t contain their amusement.

“Wash well anyway because it’s an important place,” said another.

Poor bunny.
