Plastic surgery addict shaves jaw to look like Wonder Woman

A plastic surgery addict had her jaw broken, shaved and reset to look more like a comic book superhero.

Pixee Fox, 27, risked paralysing her face to undergo agonising surgery that changed her jawline from round to more v-shaped earlier this month.

She’s trying to achieve the look made popular by Wonder Woman, but despite having gone under the knife countless times, this surgery was her most dangerous to date.

“This was by far the most extreme surgery I have done and risky in many ways, the first two days I was surviving hour to hour,” she says.

"I had a plastic tube in my nose so my airways would not close and plastic braces that keep my bite fixed and mouth open.

“With all the plastic in my mouth and down my throat I could not swallow, so every 20-minutes for the first 24-hours my airways had to be vacuumed for blood, fluids and saliva.”

Pixee flew over to Seoul, Korea, to have the procedure performed. It involved having her cheek bones reduced and chin re-centred, before shaving down her jaw and moving it back into place.

As part of her recovery, she spent a week unable to talk or drink and is expected to take a year to get back to full use of her face.

“After 24-hours the breathing tube in my nose was taken out and the thing that kept my mouth open was removed, after two days the bleeding stopped and then things got a lot better,” she explains.

“After five days I could start to drink some juices and then liquid, I won't be able to eat solid food for more than a month.

Pixee had the surgery ahead of plans to launch a children's comic book series in which she features as the crime-fighting protagonist.

“I wanted to do the V-line and bone surgery to achieve a more symmetric and have a jawline that looked more like a superhero,” she says.

“The jaw surgery will make my face look smaller which will make my eyes appear bigger. I'm creating my own cartoon figure, I'm going to be my own superhero character that is being turned into a book series and hopefully films.”

Pixee went under the knife for the first time in 2011 and since then has undergone countless surgeries and cosmetic procedures to transform her body.

Her extensive list includes: six ribs removed, four breast augmentations, two liposuctions, two blepharoplasties, liabiaplasty, eye-colour changing implants, brow lift and butt lift.

“All the other surgeries have been easy in comparison since they are performed more frequently, this one required a lot of research,” she says.

“After doing my first surgery I got hooked. For me it was like going on an adventure and creating my body with my own imagination.”
