Melania slams claims she's 'unhappy' in her marriage

Melania Trump has sensationally hit back at claims she’s ‘unhappy’ in her marriage to President Donald Trump.

The 47-year-old slammed TV host Mika Brzezinski after the MSNBC Morning Joe star said in an interview that Melania was staying in her marriage for the sake of her son, Baron.

Speaking to InStyle magazine, Brzezinski claimed she knew Melania and said she didn’t believer her marriage to Trump would continue for much longer.

“I haven’t talked to her in months, but if my gut is right, I don’t think she’s going to put up with it much longer,” Brzezinski said.

“I know nothing. That’s just my instinct and I go with my gut and my gut’s always right.”

Brzezinski continued, saying she believes Melania has the “worst job in the country” and claimed she is only doing it “for her son”.

However Melania isn’t taking it sitting down and has now released a statement to Dailymail.com about the comments.

“It is sad when people try to further their own agenda by commenting on me and my family, especially when they don't know me,” she said.

Likewise, her husband, Donald Trump, also hit back at the claims in a tweet on his social media account.

“Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!,” he said in the post.

And while the couple may be fiercely defending the state of their marriage, just last month a body language expert claimed things aren’t looking good for the pair.

“[Melania]'s giving these gestures that's saying, ‘I want everyone to know that I'm not agreeable. I am not here with you. We are separate people,'" Susan Constantine
told AOL.

Add to this Melania’s very public hand swats when she knows the entire world is watching her interactions with her husband, and Susan claims their marriage might merely be a show – one the first lady could be tiring of.

“I think she's a very unhappy person and I think their marriage is in deep, deep trouble… You can see that this is all show, there's no connection.”
