Puppy drags blanket outside for the cutest reason

They say that dogs are a man’s best friend, but if this picture is anything to go by, they look out for just about anybody.

In an adorable snap posted online a rescue puppy is pictured laying out his blanket for a homeless dog she spotted on the street.

Eight-month-old Lana is from Brazil and was rescued from the streets by Suelen Schaumloeffel.

Suelen took to Facebook to post the cutest picture, showing just how generous Lana really is.

She had bought Lana a blanket to fend off the cold weather in her doghouse but when she woke up the next morning she was astounded at what she saw.

Lana has dragged the blanket from her doghouse all the way out to the fence between their property and the street.

While Suelen was initially confused about Lana’s actions, she soon learned the adorable reason why.

Lana had noticed a stray dog on the street and not forgetting where she came from, decided to lend half of her blanket to the furry pup.

“She is the nicest little dog I’ve ever met,” Suelen told Dodo.

“We forget sometimes the difference we can make in someone’s life. She reminded me of this.”
