Keen to experience the local culture, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen knocking back shots of Gdansk liqueur Goldwasser, which translates to Golden Water, and packs a punch at 40 percent proof.
"It is very good, very sweet," said Prince William.
"And very strong… " added a slightly taken aback Kate.
Looking relaxed in a floral top and skirt from British designer Erdem, the Duchess and her husband were also seen trying local dumplings at Pod Lososiem restaurant.
With Kate opting for salmon and crayfish and Wills choosing a mushroom flavoured one, staffers then reportedly promised to name the dumplings after each of the royals.
The royal couple were also snapped by thousands of well wishers, with Kate seen happily chatting to the crowd.
