Melania to meet Prince Harry on her first solo trip

He’s a man in demand and it seems no one is immune to Prince Harry’s charms – not even the first lady herself, Melania Trump.

The White House has announced the FLOTUS' plans for her first solo overseas tour without husband Donald Trump, and it sees her heading to Toronto for the Invictus Games from September 23rd to 30th.

“I was heartened by the great success of the inaugural Invictus Games that took place in London in 2014, and the second games in Orlando, Florida last year,” Melania said in a statement.

“In just two short years, the Invictus Games have allowed thousands of injured and wounded servicemen and women from many different countries to participate in adaptive sports competitions – something that should be lauded and supported worldwide. I am honoured by the opportunity to represent our country at this year’s games.”

With Melania supporting the 90 American athletes who are competing, her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham has confirmed the first lady will meet Prince Harry, who founded the Games.

But what about a meeting between Melania and Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle, who films her hit show Suits in Toronto?

"Stay tuned," Stephanie told USA TODAY.

It’s not the first time Harry has met a FLOTUS – he visited Michelle Obama at the White House in 2013, and shared tea with Michelle and her daughters Malia and Sasha at Kensington Palace in 2015.
