They’ve already been spotted boarding a plane on their way to a romantic birthday trip for Meghan’s birthday and now it’s been revealed how Prince Harry and his lady love spent the big day.
While royal fans are crossing all their fingers and toes that a proposal has happened over the weekend, Kensington Palace has been keeping very quiet on the topic.
Prince Harry whisked his Suits actress girlfriend away on safari in Africa to ring in her 36th birthday in style, however more details of their retreat has been revealed.
According to The Telegraph, Harry and Meghan are have set up home for their holiday in a log cabin in Kenya's Lewa Wildlife Conservatory area.
Of course, who could forget that his brother, Prince William, popped the question to Kate Middleton in that exact area of Kenya in 2010?
While the world goes into overdrive imagining a sunset proposal on the plains of Africa, The Sun reports that Harry has actually been plotting the holiday for a very long time.
“They’ll go on boats across the lake, walk in the bush at dawn and camp under the stars,” a royal insider told the publication.
"Harry regards Africa as his spiritual home and has often talked of how he can get away from it all there.
“Who knows what will happen when they’re watching a sensational African sunset together? Maybe he’ll get down on one knee."
Indeed Prince Harry has often spoke of his love for Africa and during the documentary, Prince Harry in Africa, the 23-year-old revealed how passionate he is about the country.
"The last 10 years that I've been coming here‚ every single time we turn up somewhere‚ they're always singing," he said.
"It's never shake hands‚ it's sing‚ dance‚ embarrass yourself.
"To me‚ that's what this country is about‚ you just feel welcome everywhere you go."
