It has been 20 years since her death but Princess Diana still continues to capture the world with her story.

Now, in this exclusive sneak peek to the first local look at the infamous secret Diana tapes, we see a side of the Princess never seen before.

In the footage above we see a whole new Diana as she opens up about her royal life and marriage to Prince Charles.

The preview shows Diana discussing her doomed marriage to Charles and her relationship Queen Elizabeth.

The Princess says: “I went to the Top Lady… What do I do? She said: ‘I don’t know what you should do.’ And that was it.”

She was most likely asking for advice from the Queen about Charles.

Diana also reveals her husband told her: “I refuse to be the Prince of Wales who never had a mistress.”

It is an intimate side of Diana her Australian admirers will have never seen.
