Twitter erupts as Trump stares directly at the solar eclipse
Donald Trump sent the internet into a spin when he stepped outside without any protective glasses on and stared directly at the solar eclipse.
The 71-year-old gave Twitter users had a good laugh when he went against everything scientists had said about the dangers of staring at the sun during the eclipse - and did it anyway.

Despite Trump deciding to shun the glasses, his wife Melania and their 10-year-old son Baron were pictured wearing the protective shades on the The White House balcony.
The President did eventually put the glasse on, after shouts of "don't look" from an aide reminded him to.
However Trump didn’t escape the wrath of Twitter users, who took to their accounts to let their feelings be known.
