Man builds doggy-bedroom under the stairs

One guy has gone to great lengths to make sure his furry friend can enjoy all the creature comforts of having his own bedroom.

And it’s got some definite Harry Potter ‘the cupboard under the stairs’ vibes to it.

Photos of the paw-some DIY project have been making the rounds on Twitter after the pet owner’s brother was so impressed with the bedroom he just had to share it.

“My brother built his dog a separate room in his house,” Al_Chris16 tweeted with the images.

And Al’s brother certainly went all out to build the pup its very own room under the stairs – complete with ceiling light and picture frames.

What started as some dead space under the staircase was quickly transformed thanks to some serious DIY skills.

After removing a section of the wall – we’re just guessing here – the owner added plasterboard and painted the new walls a crisp white.

Add matching floorboards and skirting and voila – one super stylish doggy-bedroom.

People were in awe online of the results, but one person had the best response.
