Leave Barron Trump alone!

He may be only 11 years old but Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, has been criticized by a publication for the way he dresses.

People are rightly outraged over an article which appeared in The Daily Caller titled: "It's High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He's In the White House."

Journalist Ford Springer laid into Barron in the story, claiming he looked like “he was hopping on Air Force One for a trip to the movie theater."

The article included photos of Barron and his parents boarding Air Force One at the White House, dressed in a red t-shirt and beige shorts.

"I've been on the Barron Trump train from the start, but it's about time the president's son starts dressing the part," Springer wrote.

However considering the fact that he’s an 11-year-old boy, people were outraged at Springer’s article and took to Twitter to slam the publication and ask them to leave the child alone.

“Barron Trump looks and dresses just like a young boy should look and dress,” one woman said on Twitter.

“Sorry, disagree, kids including #BarronTrump are off limits - don't we have enough online #hate? Don't be part of the problem. #ShameNation,” another person said.

“Barron Trump can dress however he wants in the White House. Power to him. Power to being a young person.,” a person said in Barron’s defence.

Even Hilary Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, showed her solidarity with Barron by tweeting that she was disgusted with the article about his causal attire.

“It's high time the media & everyone leave Barron Trump alone & let him have the private childhood he deserves,” she said.

People may not agree with Trump’s policies or his administration but it’s worth remembering that Barron didn’t ask for an invasion into his privacy at such a young age.
