Princess Mary furious at Fred’s wild Aussie trip

Princess Mary is said to be furious with her hubby for enjoying a boozy trip Down Under while she is stuck ‘running’ Denmark.

While the Crown Princess of Denmark is dealing with the twins starting school, her husband Prince Frederik flew to Australia for a sailing trip to Hamilton Island.

He’s been making headlines for all the wrong reasons, and according to New Idea magazine, it’s left Mary angry at her husband’s ‘refusal to grow up’.

“Mary just can’t believe Fred is running around like a 21-year-old while she’s busy ruling Denmark and managing the twins’ first week of school,” a palace aide tells New Idea.

“He seems to wind up in one drama or another – and drinking is the common thread.”

It comes after police were involved in an incident at a Brisbane nightclub where Prince Frederik was refused entry for not producing ID.

He was asked to leave club Jade Buddah, only to return with seven QLD police officers who confirmed his identity.

Just the day before he’d been photographed enjoying a few beers with a crew on board his yacht at Hamilton Island race week.

He was also spotted with a Princess Mary look alike – that bears a striking resemblance to another girl he was photographed with in 2009.

This is the first week Queen Margrethe has completely handed the reins to Mary while she prepares to abdicate, and having Fred away is raising eyebrows.

He also seemed to have no shortage of female attention, the source saying ‘he was charming and polite to all women’.

Despite all the drama it’s said our Mary has risen to the challenge, handling things ‘with flying colours’.
