How Princess Charlotte takes after Diana

She’s the granddaughter Princess Diana will tragically never get to meet, but it seems Princess Charlotte is destined to follow in Di’s footsteps.

Speaking to the public as they visited Kensington Palace gardens on the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death, Kate Middleton revealed her two-year-old is already learning to dance.

“She absolutely loves it,” Kate revealed.

It’s something Prince William fondly remembers about his mum, too.

Di was a passionate dancer from early on, admitting the “love of my life is dancing, things like tap, modern, ballet and jazz” in a letter she wrote during her teen years.

It’s a legacy Prince William is more than happy for his young daughter to inherit.

“We've got plenty of pictures. I remember [Diana] showing me ballet shoes she had been given and she was so proud of them,” the Mirror reports Prince William as saying.

"She loved dancing, she was a fantastic dancer.

"We've been going through her music collection recently and there's some quite eclectic stuff in there. She was elated by the skill."
