WATCH: Dash cam catches red-light shocker

Just in case you needed a refresher – green means go, red means stop.

It’s a pretty simple rule that a driver in the above video seems to have either forgotten, or maybe he just wasn’t paying attention.

Either way, Christopher shared his footage with the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page after seeing the crash unfold in front of him.

Clearly distracted – by what many commenters assume is a mobile phone – the silver car in the left hand land shows no signs of slowing down as it approaches an intersection.

Even from at least 100m back it’s clear the lights are RED.

And yet, seemingly without any hesitation, the driver continues right through the intersection and is collected by traffic from the right.

Although the front of his car is totalled, the driver appears to be unharmed. It is unclear from the footage what happened to the other car in the collision.
