Trump lets slip Ivanka calls him 'daddy'

Donald Trump has caused the internet to go into overdrive after revealing his 35-year-old daughter, Ivanka, likes to call him ‘daddy’.

The US President was in the middle of delivering a speech in North Dakota on Wednesday when he decided to wax lyrical about his eldest daughter.

“Everybody loves Ivanka,” Trump said, pointing towards his daughter to the side of the stage and telling her to come up.

“She wanted to make the trip. She said ‘dad can I go’ and she actually said ‘daddy, can I go with you?’. I like that, right?” Trump said.

He went on to claim Ivanka said to him, “‘daddy can I go with you’, to which he responded, "'I said ‘yes you can’. Everyone loves Ivanka. Come up here, honey'”.

"Sometimes they'll say, you know, he can't be that bad a guy. Look at Ivanka," he continued.

A delighted looking Ivanka then appeared on the stage where she gave a short speech, telling everyone how much she loved North Dakota.

Trump then gave his daughter a peck on the cheek before she walked off.

Of course Twitter had a lot to say about the whole thing.
