Meghan’s brother puts pressure on Harry

The world is waiting with bated breath for Prince Harry to drop to one knee and give us a new princess.

But it seems it isn’t just the public who are getting a little impatient for a royal announcement.

Meghan Markle’s half brother Thomas Markle Jr, has long been a fan of the relationship and is hoping the Prince will just hurry up and get on with it!

“I hope Prince Harry proposes. She's a hot commodity right now - he better get on it,” he told the Daily Mail.

Thomas, 51, went on to say that he’s very proud of his 36-year-old sister’s success and always knew “that she was destined to be somewhere really big.”

“She's always been a princess. She's carried herself on that level from day one,” he explained.

According to Meghan’s friends, she and Thomas aren’t particularly close, but that hasn’t stopped him from publicly weighing in on her romance with Harry.

After spending a holiday together in Africa, Harry and Meghan are expected to make their first public appearance together at the Invictus Games – a Paralympic style sporting competition for injured returned service men and women - in Toronto next week.

Meghan lives is Toronto, so the happy couple will undoubtedly be able to get a little private time together while he’s in town.
