Couple defies body norms with lingerie engagement shoot

Posing for an engagement photo shoot is nothing new, but one couple have taken their celebrations to a new level by stripping off for incredible photos that have taken the world by storm.

Stephanie and Arryn are set to tie the knot in February 2019, with the Texan couple embracing their special time by having Bria Terry of Wolf & Rose Photography capture intimate snaps of them.

For Stephanie – who is photographed in nothing but black bottoms – it was also a chance to highlight her own body love, and give a shout out to her fiancé who has never ever made her feel “self conscious about any part”.

“Over the years, I’ve come to accept that I am always going to be considered plus-size,” Stephanie told HuffPost.

“I push myself out of my comfort zone by wearing clothes that I love but aren’t in society’s mold of what is acceptable for bigger women, like crop tops, tight shirts, shorter dresses and shorts. I walk around with my head high, smiling, and show no shame in myself.”

The beautiful images show Stephanie and Arryn in a series of embraces, with Arryn clearly unable to take his eyes off his gorgeous fiancée.

The photos have since been shared nearly 83,000 times on Facebook, with the happy couple flooded with supportive messages.

“This makes my heart so happy and gives me hope as a plus size woman that not all men care about what size you are,” commented one woman.

"I love how he is looking at her," added another. "He clearly has made her feel so breathtaking (she is very beautiful to say the least) but you can feel the love coming from these pictures."

Meanwhile, others have applauded the photographer for sharing the body positive photos.

“Thanks for showing real women,” wrote one on Facebook. “Wish you lived closer I would have pics done of me and my man.”
