However while many may think it’s Prince Harry that’s decided to provide his lady love with more protection, it’s been claimed that the actress has been given a round-the-clock team by bosses at her hit NBC show, Suits.

According to the Daily Mail, the star’s bosses have made sure the actress feels safe both on set and at home by giving her a strong security presence.

They’ve also installed security cameras on outside her home and bodyguards perform “regular sweeps” on the street in Toronto where she lives.

Prince Harry of course has a whole team of security guards who follow him around and locals claim that there is a huge bodyguard presence when he’s around.

“I tell you, when he's [Harry] here, the street is full of police and security people. They just go straight in and they don't come out,” one person who lives near Meghan said.

A builder, who work in the area, also said that Harry brings a lot of security with him when he stays at Meghan’s house.

“She usually has guys in a dark car – I've seen them escorting her in and they try to shield her a bit,” he said.

The move comes just months after Prince Harry released statement through Kensington Palace addressing the “wave of abuse and harassment” his girlfriend has received since their relationship became common knowledge.

“Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her,” the statement read.

“It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm.

“He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game’. He strongly disagrees. This is not a game - it is her life and his.”
