Camilla and Charles’ ‘revenge fling'

A British author has made the shocking claim that it was actually Princess Anne, not Camilla, who caused the breakdown of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage.

Royal biographer Penny Junor has revealed to New Idea magazine that “revenge” saw Camilla and Charles first get together.

The report suggests that Andrew Parker Bowles was having an affair with Princess Anne in the 1970s, when he was Camilla’s future husband.

Penny says Camilla was so upset about it that she ended up with Charles for a “revenge fling”.

“He was bonking other people – some of her friends,” Penny told the publication.

“Indeed her principal motivation was to have some excitement and make Andrew jealous.

“She thought, ‘Andrew is off with Princess Anne. I’ll teach him a lesson’. So she had a fling with Charles.”

At the time it’s believed Prince Charles was not in a relationship.

But they did rekindle their romance in the 1980s when Charles was married to Princess Diana and she was Mrs Parker Bowles.
