WATCH: Breakfast TV presenter’s hilarious ‘Where am I’ fail

One TV presenter's attempt at getting the audience involved in a fun guessing game went completely sideways.

TVNZ's Matty McLean suffered an embarrassing on on-screen gaffe when he ruined his own ‘Where am I’ segment.

During the segment, the breakfast presenter told viewers they needed to try and guess his location for a chance to win a hotel getaway package.

“The thing is, I'm not going to tell you where I am. You've got to figure that out,” he says during the live cross.

Anchor Hilary Barry broke the news saying: “I've got to say; a lot of people are messaging us guessing correctly where you are.”

“Because it's on a sign right behind you,” co-anchor Jack Tame laughed.

It comes just months after video showed the same host dropping the c-bomb twice during a live cross, blaming the blunder on Adele.
