Hilariously terrible parking job video goes viral

You wouldn’t think parallel parking could be a spectator sport — but this is 2017 and a new reality is upon us.

A video of what is likely the worst parallel parking attempt in history has been captured for the world to see and comes complete with snarky Irish commentary.

Although we can’t see from the video, the driver of the car is apparently a woman.

And despite numerous attempts by passersby to help her guide the car snugly into place, she forges ahead alone.

"What is she doing?" laughs one onlooker. "This has been going on for 20 minutes.

"Kieren went down and offered to park it and she was raging that we were laughing at her."

It’s unclear how long exactly it takes for her to finally make it in (the footage is cut down to six minutes and 25 seconds) but our best guess would be somewhere between twenty to thirty minutes.

When the beleaguered driver finally makes it into the spot - courtesy of a passerby who patiently guides them into the spot - a chorus of cheers erupts from the onlookers.

In a way, it’s oddly satisfying.

The video currently sits at a whopping 41M views on Facebook, 436K likes and nearly 350K shares.
