Weather girl gets a serious case of the giggles live on TV

We all know how hard it is to act professional when a fit of giggles takes over – but imagine having to keep in in live on TV.

That’s exactly what happened when BBC Reporting Scotland weather girl, Kawser Quamer, launched into her weather report this week.

Just as she was about to about to start her segment, the caption on the screen accidentally labelled her an ‘ex-offender’ and she obviously couldn’t stop thinking about it after that.

The giggles took over and she struggled to make her way through the report, having to stop and take a second to get her breathe back.

And just when she had composed herself, another caption error swept across the screen, ‘which read: ‘Julie Cree – Throughcare Support Worker’.

That set Kawser off again and the rest of the minute-long segment was spent with her trying to control her laughter.

She did a great job though and by the end of her segment she was back on track.
