Voice coach claims the Queen won't like Meghan Markle's accent
Meghan Markle may be dating her grandson but according to reports the actress’ accent isn’t the Queen's cup of tea.
According to voice coach Jade Joddle, Meghan Markle is an extremely expressive person and uses her voice to engage with people.
However, the Queen is used to listening to softly spoken royal family members, like Kate Middleton, and Harry’s ex’s Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy.
“I don't think the Queen will like Meghan's way of speaking all that much,” Joddle told the Daily Mail.
“The Queen likes Kate's voice more because she is someone who doesn't give much of herself away.
“So when the Queen encounters sassy-voiced Meghan Markle, she won't be that pleased.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby whispers
It’s believed that Meghan Markle has already met with the Queen for afternoon tea at Buckingham Palace.
And while Joddle may think her voice would have put the Monarch off, it’s been reported that the Queen gave Meghan and Prince Harry her blessing to marry.
The meeting at Buckingham Palace comes right in the midst of engagement rumours swirling around and news that Meghan is reportedly moving to London full-time next month.
