You can now shop IKEA online

Your credit card bill is about to get a lot more expensive because IKEA has just announced that they’ve launched online shopping.

From November 1st people who hate making the trek to their local IKEA store can now browse through the Swedish furniture from the comfort of their own home.

And even better for city slickers like us, they’ll also deliver the good right to your door.

However, if you don’t mind getting in the car and going out there but can’t stand the hour it takes to walk around the massive shop, you can also click-and-collect so you skip right to the end.

IKEA has already launched online shopping in Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory and most recently Queensland – and now it’s Sydney’s turn.

You’ll be able to select a delivery date and time and track it from the moment it leaves the warehouse right up until it reaches your door.

However, the service and the convenience doesn’t come cheap, because it’ll cost you $40 for click-and-collect and $99 if you want home delivery.

The clock-and-collect will be available at IKEA Tempe, Rhodes and Marsden Park.

Happy shopping.
