Prince Harry jokes he 'can't hide Meghan anywhere'

Royal fans went into meltdown when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out together at the Invictus Games last month.

And it seems the 33-year-old prince knows all too well how invested the public are in his relationship with the Suits star – as he’s claimed he “can’t hide her anywhere”.

The flame-haired royal was attending an event to honour soldier at the Field of Remembrance when he was asked by 28-year-old Matt Weston where his “missus” was.

West, who lost three limbs while serving in Afghanistan in 2008 told reporters he “took the mickey and asked where his missus was and he said she wasn’t here”.

“I asked if she would come next time because she’s awesome, and he said he couldn’t hide her anywhere — but I said you wouldn’t have to hide her,” he said.

“I would love to meet her — I think she’s very cool. He’s a very lucky man and she’s brilliant.”

Harry’s royal engagement comes just after royal insiders claimed they hadn’t heard any mumblings at Kensington Palace about an imminent announcement.

The source claimed that the 33-year-old might never propose and he’s using Kate’s pregnancy and the royal Christmas engagements to hold it off.

“There is always room for doubt because he is a serial commitment-phobe,” a source told The Daily Beast.

“He is said to be a ‘love addict’ and his parents’ example is far from encouraging.”

Another source told the publication that if an engagement does happen, it won’t be announced until after Kate Middleton has her baby in April.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got together in July 2016 and since then people have been wondering when the flame-haired royal will propose.
