Man posts photos of child 'ghost' he claims is haunting his home

A man who claims his apartment is being haunted by a ghost called David has posted creepy pictures online to prove it.

Adam Ellis, who hails from New York, posted the dark photos to his Twitter page, claiming that if you turn up the brightness setting you’ll see why he’s so freaked out.

One of the photos in particular spooked Adam so much that he said it “made his heart drop”.

If you do actually turn the brightness levels up to the maximum, what you’ll see if a pretty freaky doll-like figure sitting on Adam’s couch.

Adam has achieved viral fame in the past few months after he started to document the ghostly activities of ‘David’.

In his long Twitter thread, he tells of how one night he woke up with sleep paralysis and saw the figure of a boy sitting in a rocking chair at the end of his bed.

“For a while he just stared at me, but then he got out of the chair and started shambling toward the bed,” he says.

“I couldn't move because I was paralyzed. (I have sleep paralysis fairly often. It sucks.)

“Right before he reached my bed, I woke up screaming.”

A few days later, Adam had another concerning dream; this time he was in a library and a girl came up to him and asked him about seeing “Dear David”.

“She continued, ‘He's dead. He only appears at midnight, and you can ask him two questions if you said 'Dear David' first.’

“Then she added, ‘But never try to ask him a third question, or he'll kill you.’”

Dear David came back shortly afterwards, and Adam worked up the courage to ask him a couple of questions.

Fortunately for Adam, the apartment above him became vacant soon afterwards and he moved in there instead.

Dear David didn’t return for a number of months, but now Adam is starting to suspect he may have moved out of the dream world, and into real life.

He explains that for the last six nights, his two pet cats have been going to his front door at exactly midnight and just sitting there.

Determined to get to the bottom of things, Adam went to the door one night and took a photo through the peephole. This is what he saw:

He then tried something different and recorded the sounds in his house while he slept.

While Adam’s story is enough to give any non-believer goosebumps, it should be noted that he is a comic book writer by trade.
