Harry and Meghan's wedding plans revealed
Things are heating up between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the Suits star said to be moving to London to be with her royal beau.
And now it’s finally been revealed that the duo is planning to tie the knot next July in honour of Prince Harry’s beloved late mother, Princess Diana.
A source from Buckingham Palace is said to have told A Current Affair that Prince Harry wants to hold his own wedding on the same month his mother married Prince Charles, who famously wed in July 1981.
Royal watchers have been sent into a frenzy with the news that Meghan is packing up her life in Canada and moving to London to be with Prince Harry.
It’s been claimed the star has asked Suits bosses to write her out of the hit show so she can re-locate, and all signs point to the lovebirds being committed to settling down together.
However, if you were expecting a flashy wedding like Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Westminster Abbey affair, then think again, because according to reports, Harry wants a quiet wedding.
"Pomp and pageantry is the last thing he would want," a royal insider told Us Weekly.
"I can see him wanting to get married at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
“It would stop it from turning into a total media circus and give the day a sense of privacy that Harry so badly craves."
It comes after New Idea reported that not only are the lovebirds planning a wedding, but they’re also getting ready for the arrival of a bundle of joy.
“We’ve heard on very good authority that Meghan is already pregnant,” a palace insider told the publication.
“Prince Harry has told the Queen that they would like to marry ‘as soon as possible’, which is only making the pregnancy speculation even more rife.
“He and Meghan are in a very big rush to get down the aisle and everyone’s guessing it’s because she doesn’t want to be too far along for the big day.”
