Trump's awkward water bottle moment caught on camera

Donald Trump has once again become an internet meme after uffering an awkward water bottle moment at the podium.

The 72-year-old was making a speech about his 11-day trip to Asia in the White House when the thirst struck.

He stopped midway through his speech and looked underneath the podium, where White House staff usually leave either a bottle or glass of water, but was left empty handed.

"They don't have water," Trump said.

"That's OK."

The whole thing was caught on camera, with people taking to Twitter to mock the President for the embarrassing slip.

“Donald Trump drinks water like my child drinks out of a sippy cup,” one person said.

“Trump has always had the maturity level of a 3-year-old. The fact that he drinks water like a 3-year-old is just icing on the cake,” another person said.

People are even more amused by Trump’s water moment after he relentlessly mocked Republican rival Marco Rubio for his need to drink water during his speeches in 2013.

“He's like this: 'I need water. Help me, I need water,” Trump said in a speech in 2016, pretending to stagger around the stage.

Now, Rubio has taken to Twitter to get his own back.

"Similar, but needs work on his form.Has to be done in one single motion & eyes should never leave the camera. But not bad for his 1st time," he Tweeted.
