Video emerges of Meghan Markle's Deal or No Deal briefcase girl days
She may be about to marry in the British royal family but Meghan Markle came from very humble beginnings.
Footage has now emerged of the 36-year-old former Suits actress appearing on Deal or No Deal as a briefcase girl.
Meghan can be seen in the video above smiling from ear-to-ear in a tight, short orange dress with briefcase number 11 in her hand.
The future Duchess of Sussex had a reoccurring role on the show from 2006 until 2007, with Meghan calling the show a “learning experience.
“I would put that in the category of things I was doing while I was auditioning to try to make ends meet,” the star previously told Esquire in an interview.
“I went from working in the U.S. Embassy in Argentina to ending up on Deal.
“Definitely working on Deal or No Deal was a learning experience, and it helped me to understand what I would rather be doing.”
Meghan went on to say that she would “end up standing up there forever in these terribly uncomfortable and inexpensive five-inch heels just waiting for someone to pick my number so I could go and sit down”.
Her stint on the hit gameshow came five years before she landed the role of Rachel Zane in Suits.
Fast-forward six years and the future Her Royal Highness is now prepping to become the newest member of the British royal family.
Prince Harry and the former actress announced on Monday that they would be tying the knot in May at Windsor Castle.
