WATCH: Is this the Loch Ness monster’s cousin?

Local residents in Albania think they’ve discovered what could be another Loch Ness monster.

Footage of the creature was filmed in the Albanian section of the Great Prespa Lake, which is shared by Albania, Greece and Macedonia.

It appears to show the head and a neck of something very large emerging from the water.

And it’s completely freaking us out.

People pointed out that it resembles the infamous “surgeon’s photograph” hoax in Loch Ness, and could be seen moving up and down before disappearing beneath the water.

It even led to an investigation by journalists, but they failed to find any other trace of the ‘creature’ in the area.

While many locals believe on the stories of a monster in the lake, some think it is just a giant catfish.
