Meghan Markle and Prince Harry partied 'like tycoons' in Monaco
It was revealed yesterday that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry jetted off on a romantic getaway, flying economy from the UK to Monaco.
And now, it’s been claimed that the loved-up 33-year-old royal and his 36-year-ld former Suits actress fiancé lived it up like rockstars in the gambler’s paradise.
Monaco, which is situated on the French Mediterranean coastline, is known for being a magnet for the rich and the famous, featuring swanky casinos, restaurants and idyllic scenery.
“Monte Carlo is party central at this time of the year and the word is that the British Royals really enjoyed themselves,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“What’s certain is that they were partying like tycoons on New Year’s Day.
“Fun around Monaco is never understated, and always costs a fortune.”
Harry and Meghan are thought to have met up with friends in the millionaire’s playground, before jetting out just two days later.
It’s not known whether they met up with the royal family there, including Prince Albert and his wife Charlene.
And while they may have everything at their fingertips, it’s been reported that Meghan and Harry flew cattle class on their short trip.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry and his Suits star love were whisked straight to the back of a British Airways plane and sat right beside the rear toilets.
They were the first people to board the flight and all the seats in the last three rows of the plane were left vacant for the pair, who were said to be accompanied by three bodyguards.
Passengers said that Meghan was wearing hardly any makeup and a beanie, while Harry was looking just as casual in jeans and a baseball cap, and sat in the window seat.
