Nudist couple share proposal with crowd of strangers
It’s a special moment when a couple decide they want to spend the rest of their life together, and for Nigel Seymour and his partner Rachel Allen, that moment was made even more special by the fact they were naked.
And on a stage in front of 400 people.
While this might sound like a nightmare to most of us, naturists Nigel and Rachel were completely in their element when the good news happened.
Attending a British Naturism weekend in the UK last November, Nigel, 57, knew his girlfriend Rachel was The One, and decided to get up on stage in front of a crowded room to ask her to marry him.
The teary 28-year-old happily said yes, and the couple are now excitedly planning for their wedding.
The couple, who met at a nudist retreat and bonded during a naked ping pong game, are hoping to have both a nude and clothed ceremony.
“For us, being naked is completely natural. We’re always nude at home. I do all the cooking and cleaning naked. If it was up to me, I’d never wear clothes,” said Nigel.
No doubt it’s set to be an interesting wedding, with Rachel becoming a naturalist due to her upbringing, while Nigel only stripped off when he turned 40.
