A genealogy website in the UK has crunched the numbers and come up with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's as yet unconcieved baby's due date.

We can expect the royal arrival on...wait for it...August 27, 2013.

The team at Genes Reunited arrived at the magical date by calculating the average time between a royal wedding and the subsequent birth of the couple's first child, which turns out to be 851 days.

If (in the unlikely event) the prediction turns out to be true, the newest royal addition is destined to be conceived on or around November 20, a chilly time of year in the UK and perfect for snuggling.

It's been a busy year for Will and Kate, who recently added Earl and Countess of Strathearn to their list of titles, between events celebrating the Diamond Jubilee and the forthcoming Olympics.

What's more the young couple both celebrated their 30th birthdays in 2012.

Later in the year Will and Kate are scheduled to tour the South Pacific, visiting Malaysia, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, and the tiny island nation of Tuvalu, which has a population of just 10400 souls.

With their Jubilee committments wrapped up, the couple will have more time to relax come November.

Likely names of the bub, who will of course be heir to the British throne, have come under scrutiny too. For a boy, nominated names include Charles, George, Henry, James, and Michael.

If Kate bears forth a princess, favoured names include Carole (after Carole Middleton), Elizabeth, Mary, Philippa or Victoria.
