While most moves require a partner, some can be performed solo, but obviously the most caloric burning positions are the ones where you’re synchronised.

10 minutes of standings sex is the same as one kilometre of cycling and will work almost everything from your abs, back, glutes, hips and legs!

Don’t have much time? Three minutes of her in a squatting sex position will burn just as many calories as a pro 110 metre hurdle racer.

And when desperate times call for desperate measures, the infographic claims 30 minutes of masturbation equates to one fling of a bow and arrow.

While you might think Olympic may burn heaps of calories during their events, you’d be surprised how little they truly burn, which makes burning the same amount at home perfectly possible.

Plowing through the water in a 100 metre race uses the same muscles you would need to perform 20 minutes of oral sex.

This is the same amount of time you need to be in the exhausting 'wheelbarrow' position which is the equivalent to one pole vault jump - a great workout for those abs, arms and legs.

So what are you waiting for? Get competing in the Bedroom Olympics and burn burn burn!
