Sydney sex worker reveals all in Reddit thread

A Sydney sex worker has revealed everything there is to know about the industry in a ‘Ask Me Anything’ thread on Reddit.

The 25-year-old, who goes by the name ‘growlergirl’ on the site, claims she began her career working in a “high-profile brothel” and now she charges $550 an hour for the pleasure of her time.

The young woman said she takes two to three bookings per week, netting a whopping $3K – and in the no-holds-barred Q&A she lays everything about her life on the table.

What’s her clientele?
“Mostly white-collar type professions, more Caucasian, Indian and Asian than other races, and mostly in the 40-60 age group,” she said.

“I'm happy with this, because these guys are well mannered and really generous. I have a no-Irish policy, for all of the reasons you'd imagine.”

How many men has she slept with?
“Between 1100 and 1200."

“I used to have a spiral staircase in my Perth apartment. One client used to like sitting underneath it and ***k off while I walked up and down the staircase. He had an upskirt fetish,” she said.

“His hair was greasy. He had poor complexion. He told me he was on this prescription cream for it but not much else. I asked him if he ever exercised and he said no. I didn’t bother asking him about his diet.”

How did she get into the industry?
“I got into the industry for the money, pure and simple,” she said.

“I suppose the part of my personality that prompted me to make that decision is the fact that I've always been an oddball. So it wasn't as big a deal for me to go into an oddball profession.

“Contrary to my previous beliefs, sex work has been the best thing for my mental health. I always had enough savings to keep a roof over my head and food in my fridge.”

“The worst was George. As he was driving me back to my place in his car, he answered a phone call from his wife and put her on loudspeaker so he could talk and drive. I was in the passenger seat listening to everything.”
