Melania's pal reveals truth about ‘rabid’ marriage rumours

From the moment that shocking video emerged of Melania scowling at her husband's back, rumours have been swirling that the Trump’s marriage may be in crisis.

Things haven’t exactly been helped by their living situation, with Melania staying put in their New York penthouse - 360km from the Washington - for most of the two months that have passed since the President took office.

And the fact that Melania has made very few official appearances as First Lady, leading spectators to declare that Donald's daughter Ivanka, has stepped into the role instead.

But now one of Melania’s close friends has spoken out about the “rabid rumours” and is wanting to set the record straight for once and for all.

“Mrs. Trump is enjoying her life and new role,” Karen LeFrak tells the Washington Post.

“They [she and Donald] are very happy! Their relationship is great,” she adds, “All these rabid rumours about her and their relationship are laughable and fictional.”

Karen is the wife of property developer Richard LeFrak, who has been one of the President’s close friends for years.

She also revealed that Melania is planning on moving to Washington when her and Donald’s son Barron finishes the school year, and she has been “redecorating their residence in the White House,” in the meantime.

So there you have it, things may not be as bad as they seem!
