Melania urged to dump Trump and 'flee'

There’s been no shortage of speculation surrounding the marriage between Donald Trump and his wife Melania, and now one celeb has very publicly weighed in, urging the first lady to leave her hubby.

The divorce plea came after Melania took to Twitter last week, with an inspiring message about not fearing failure.

“I urge you to not be afraid to fail – as failure will never have the power to define you, as long as you learn from it,” she tweeted.

Just hours later, comedian Rosie O’Donnell used the tweet as an opportunity to offer up some marriage advice, pressuring Melania to leave the President, and take their son Barron with her.

To put this all into context, it’s pretty fair to say there’s no love lost between Rosie and Trump.

The pair have been at war for years, ever since Rosie made comments about Trump’s Miss USA pageant back in 2006.

Trump hasn’t forgotten, famously taking to Twitter after the comedian announced her engagement in 2011.

He also fat shamed her in 2014.

And when asked in 2015 about his habit of using the words ‘pigs’, ‘slobs’ and ‘disgusting animals’, he replied: "Only Rosie O'Donnell".

Rosie's advice comes hot on the heels of reports Trump and Melania are living separate lives.

A report by Us Weekly citing anonymous sources close to the first family suggested the president and the first lady keep separate bedrooms.

A spokesman for Melania Trump denied the claim when reached by Us Weekly for comment, saying, “It’s unfortunate that you are going to feature unnamed ‘sources’ that have provided fictional accounts.”

The president and the first lady have been living apart for most of the early days of his administration — 320 kilometres apart, in fact. While President Trump lives at the White House full time, Melania resides at the family’s triplex penthouse at Trump Tower in Manhattan.
