Man writes John Stamos hilarious letter for help with epic proposal

Everyone has that one special, everlasting, overriding celebrity obsession. For Doug Cox’s girlfriend Katrina, that man is none other than John Stamos of Full House fame.

So when it came time for Doug to pop the question to his gorgeous girlfriend, the San Francisco-based director knew what he had to do.

He wrote an impassioned email to the actor, begging for his help in the proposal. And John being the awesome person that he is, agreed.

In an adorable video that’s going viral, John can be seen reading the letter, with Doug videotaping Katrina’s reaction and later putting the footage together.

“I have a problem. My girlfriend Katrina is the most amazing human being I’ve ever met… I want to marry this woman but there is a brick wall in the way,” John says as he reads Doug's letter aloud.

“Your photo has been on my living room wall for 3 years now.”

Even John looks a little taken aback by Katrina’s superfandom, leaning in for a closer look and wondering if the picture of himself on the couple’s wall has been Photoshopped in.

With Doug revealing the couple of three years even have the Full House board game which they unashamedly play, John was more than happy to give the couple his blessing.

“Katrina I would say yes to this,” says John. “I would say yes to young Doug, so I guess this is me asking you to marry him. And I hope you do.”

Cue Doug pulling out a box with a diamond ring in it, and Katrina’s excited face saying a big fat yes.
