Meghan and Harry ‘having a baby boy’

He’s the prince we’ve seen settle down before our very eyes in recent months. Leaving his party hard playboy past behind him to declare he’d “love to have kids”, Prince Harry’s priorities have very clearly changed lately.

And now, with his romance with Meghan Markle better than ever, it looks like the royal could finally be getting what he wants.

According to New Idea, the couple aren’t wasting any time and are “100 per cent trying for a baby” – and they have the blessing of the royal family.

“Having a baby out of wedlock is a break from royal protocol, but the Queen isn’t upset at all,” an insider tells the publication. “She’s a modern monarch, and these are modern times.”

As wedding whispers grow even louder following Meghan recently shutting down her lifestyle blog ‘The Tig’ after three years, insiders say there are more tell-tale signs the 35-year-old is prepping for a baby.

Following claims she's set to walk away from her hit show, the actress has reportedly requested less revealing clothing for her upcoming season of Suits.

The couple have also been tipped to move in together at Kensington Palace, with upcoming renovations the perfect opportunity for Prince Harry and Meghan to create the perfect family home for them.

It’s not just Harry, 32, who is keen to get a jump on fatherhood.

"I can't wait to start a family, but in due time," Meghan hinted in an April 2016 interview with Best Health Canada, just months before she confirmed her romance with the prince.

While the couple are staying mum on baby plans for now, insiders say it might be only a matter of time before an announcement.

“Harry has admitted he’d love a boy first,” a source tells New Idea. “Because his mum had boys, it would mean the world to him.”
