Queen’s fears Harry is neglecting duties for Meghan

He’s spoken about “wanting out” of the royal family due to the immense pressure, and a new report claims the Queen is less than happy with Prince Harry’s dedication to his official duties – and it’s all because of his girlfriend, Meghan Markle.

Last month, Harry bared his soul in a candid interview, explaining how he wanted to turn his back on his royal responsibilities for life as a commoner.

“I felt I wanted out but then decided to stay in and work out a role for myself,’ he told Newsweek, making it clear it was his loyalties to his grandmother, the Queen, that made him reconsider.

However, a new report by website Celebrity Dirty Laundry claims Prince Harry has been rearranging his schedule to make time for Suits actress Meghan – and it’s come at a cost to his official duties.

“He wants to live a normal life and he has even put his foot down and has said no to some of his royal duties,” the report reveals.

“For Queen Elizabeth, this is troubling. She doesn’t want to see Prince Harry end up like work-allergic Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton.”

As speculation around their engagement reaches fever pitch with bookies tipping it will happen by the end of the year, Meghan is said to have no interest in playing the role of dutiful princess.

It’s something insiders say the Queen has huge fears about, especially when combined with Harry’s headstrong nature.

“If it comes to it, he’ll put his foot down and say no to some royal duties,” a source told Life & Style magazine.

“Harry is strong-minded. He’s adamant about leading a normal life.”
