Model banished from Instagram for being 'too sexy'

Glamour model Elle Johnson keeps getting banned from Instagram.

Elle championed a #FreeTheCleavage movement after Spirit Airlines booted a passenger off a flight for showing too much cleavage, and now she’s had her account deactivated – again.

She’s already been banned twice for showing too much flesh, according to Instagram, but Elle wasn’t going to be shut down.

Naturally, she’s turned to Twitter to vent her frustrations, sharing the latest image that got her banned after re-joining the social media platform just last month.

“This photo is not available on #Instagram because @instagram has something against #sideboob. Actually, they just have something against me!” she wrote on Twitter.

Elle was first blocked in January, and then again in April. But says she doesn’t understand why as she claims to adhere to the site's guidelines.

"I post nothing different from what [Sports Illustrated swimsuit] or other ‘men’s mags’ post on Instagram. If Instagram is really serious about not allowing ‘sexually suggestive photos’ on their platform, they better get cracking,” Elle said in an exclusive statement to The Smoke Room.

“Although Instagrams terms of use allow them to disable accounts for any reason, they do not reserve the right to discriminate between users. But they clearly do," she says.
