Secrets of a ‘Cam Girl’: Aussie woman bares all

A Queensland woman has lifted the lid on what it’s like being a ‘cam girl’ and performing online.

Rosie Renee had quit her job as a personal trainer when she watched a documentary about cam girls - women who perform on the Internet through live footage.

The 22-year-old decided she would try it out, and a year and a half later she can now pull in $12,000 a month performing online.

One her website she describes herself as having 'Blue eyes, fake E cup boobs with a big sense of humour'.

And as she reveals what life is really like as a ‘Cam Girl’, Rosie says she does so much more than ‘just get naked’.

"I do different things online all the time ranging from slime baths to setting my nipples on fire, playing games, and more. I just love to hang out with everyone and have a good time," she writes.

Within one month, Rosie received her first pay cheque, which she says blew her mind. She explained that the way things work is that girls have a ‘tip list’, which will include what they are willing to do for ‘tokens’.

“I was nervous, of course, at the start, but I also found it exciting. It took me a while to find and create my niche, but once I did, I felt comfortable, natural and had a lot of fun,” Rosie told the Daily Mail.

“In my time, I've covered myself in pancake batter and lit my nipples on fire,” she said.

Among some of the other – strangest – things she’s done was dropping a kilo of beetroot over herself or writing her name in Vegemite across her chest during a private Skype session.

She sources her outfits from places including Gumtree, Bras'n'Things and sex shops.

Rosie stresses that it’s not easy money, sometimes working up to 70 hours in a week. And when she’s off camera she is talking to people, working on graphic and videos, and doing her own marketing and social media.

“I'm not ashamed of what I do - it's really important to me that people are starting to see camming as not this underground seedy thing,” she said.

Rosie charges between 7 tokens and 99999 tokens for her services.
