'Cam girl’ Rosie's controversial new video
‘Cam Girl’ Rosie Renee is hittng back at critics in an exclusive video recorded for Be.
The 22-year-old from Queensland opens up about her work as an online performer, saying she has received nothing but support from her family and friends.
And on her website, Rosie says she does so much more than ‘just get naked’.
"I do different things online all the time ranging from slime baths to setting my nipples on fire, playing games, and more. I just love to hang out with everyone and have a good time," she writes.
The video is her reponse to comments about her job, some critics calling her ‘uneducated’ and ‘lazy’ because of her choice to work on camera for money.
“I've never hit back before but wanted to make it crystal clear for anyone who doesn't quite understand,” Rosie tells Be.
"I’ve worked incredibly hard for someone that is 22 years old.
"I can’t tell you how many intelligent, genuine, hard working, and kind people I have met in this industry."
"Sex work should not overshadow someone's accomplishments or good characteristics, and I’m hoping more people will begin to realise that," she tells us.
“Thankfully the majority of people I've ever come across have been completely supportive.”
You can watch more of what Rosie has to say in the video above. It comes after she posted on her Facebook page, calling out the strangers saying she should be ashamed of what she does.
“It makes me giggle when I see some of the comments assuming that I don’t work hard, and never have, that I’m uneducated and need to go to school, that I can’t possibly be proud of what I do,” she wrote online.

Rosie, who started working as a Cam Girl a year and a half ago, says she has previously built, owned and operated a gym, has managed restaurants, ran her own cleaning business and continued her education after high school.
“I am proud of what I do because I’ve worked damn hard,” her post continues.
She says sex work doesn’t change who someone is, stressing that she still has the same drive, work ethic and goals as every body else.
“We have goals and degrees and families and passion for what we do beyond the good money,” she writes.
