They’re the two most important women in Donald Trump’s life, and now a body language expert has analysed the POTUS’ wife Melania and his daughter Ivanka behaviour to reveal what their feelings are towards each other.
According to body language expert Judi James, Donald previously had a habit of positioning Melania and Ivanka as his “bookends” on either side of him, as they posed like “beauty pageant queens”.
It appears that’s changed in the months of his presidency, with the two women taking on very different roles.
"Now their roles have taken a different and more serious tone with Melania as FLOTUS, following in the footsteps of one of the most charismatic First Ladies ever, while Ivanka plays the role of King’s Hand, chief support, adviser and even stand-in at world leadership occasions,” Judi told The Express.
Highlighting Melania’s serious expression whenever she is in public, Judi claims it becomes even more stern when she’s around her step-daughter.
This appears to be a stark contrast to Ivanka’s demeanor towards the first lady.
“Ivanka, on the other hand, often seems to adopt a more active role in terms of presenting the pair as close fiends and allies but Melania’s responses don’t often create a complimentary ‘fit’, making her sometimes appear rather frosty in response to Ivanka’s friendlier-looking facial expressions," explains Judi.
It’s not the first time the first family’s interactions have come under the microscope.
In June, body language expert Susan Constantine claimed Melania’s behaviour – and photos she posted of them standing stiffly side-by-side - made her feelings towards Donald very clear.
“I think she's a very unhappy person and I think their marriage is in deep, deep trouble,” Susan told AOL in June. “You can see that this is all show, there's no connection.”
