Prince Harry's bestie: 'He's a great kisser'

Ok, this is something we never expected to hear.

It turns out Prince Harry has been very good friends with Ronnie Vannucci Jr, the drummer from The Killers, for at least 10 years now.

And Ronnie, originally from Las Vegas, has opened up about their friendship, explaining that when they first met, he had no idea who he was talking to.

“I knew nothing about the royals, so when I met him he was just a dude,” Ronnie told NME. “I’m a dude in a band and he’s a dude in London.”

And according to Ronnie, Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle is one very lucky lady.

“Oh, y’know, he’s a great kisser,” he joked. “We became pals 10 years ago. We just get along”.

Asked about Prince Harry’s infamous naked Vegas pool party in 2012, Ronnie denied all knowledge.

“That was not my fault," he said. "I wasn’t there for that one.”

The friends met in 2007 when Harry attended a Killers show and they've been going strong – and partying hard – ever since.

"He just showed up at a show one time and we got along," Ronnie told The Sun. "I mean, it’s been ten years I guess. There’s been a lot of long nights."

Ronnie said Harry had sometimes brought his royal cousins – who Ronnie didn't name – to have jam sessions with the band.

“It’s safe to say we didn’t grow up with the sort of bedazzlement of having a Royal Family or anything, so I wasn’t educated in what it means to know these people first,” he said.

“Maybe that’s what made things cool. It was just like, ‘Hey, man’.”
