Pregnant women brawl over father of their unborn babies

Two pregnant women have been seen fighting in the street after discovering that both of their unborn children were fathered by the same man.

Things got messy when the father-to-be and his girlfriend were confronted by his angry lover in the Colombian city of Valledupar.

According to local reports, the lover was brandishing her mobile phone and claiming the man had stopped replying to her messages after she told him she was pregnant. Naturally, the situation quickly escalated with the two women coming to blows while the man – who was wearing a motorbike helmet - tried to separate them.

The incident was caught on camera and the girlfriend reportedly heard saying, "You are going to have a child with him and I have child with him. And so?

"Will not you respect us? He lives with me, and he already told you that he will answer you. And so what?"

At one point in the footage, one of the women is seen trying to punch the other while the man stands between them.

Police later arrived on the scene to try and control the young women.
