High-class escort Samantha X announces she's retiring

One of Australia’s most famous high-class escorts, Samantha X, has revealed she is retiring from the business after six years.

Samantha, who runs her own escort agency and has just released her second book, Back on Top: Confessions of a High-Class Escort, took to her Instagram account to make the shock announcement.

“And it’s over. Thank you to the men, the women, the amazing non-judgmental staff at hotels for giving me 6 wonderful years as an Australian escort,” she wrote.

“It wasn’t always easy, but I wouldn’t change a single thing for the world.

“Now for the next chapter.”

She also posted a picture of her last-ever client, who was a 76-year-old man with Parkinson’s disease.

“’You’re retiring?’ Says my beautiful client, Mr 76 with Parkinson’s disease,” she captioned the photo.

“’That’s a shame. I was going to ask you to marry me.’

“God bless you, I’m going to miss your sexist, racist, totally un PC jokes.”

Her shock move comes just months after Samantha, who earned $1,100 per-hour, told Be the majority of her time was spent talking to her clients and she even compared herself to an “overpaid psychologist”.

“Most men prefer the casual look. Very rarely do they want stockings suspenders high heels, they basically want you to blend in," she said.

Samantha who gained notoriety after releasing her first book, Hooked: Secrets of a High Class Escort, said not all of her clients are Prince Charmings.

“I have a beautiful client who’s 76 with Parkinson’s. He comes with his carer. Obviously, there’s no physical contact with us you know so it’s so much deeper than that,” she said.

When we interviewed Samantha, she was about to head to Melbourne to meet a client for the weekend and she was set to earn a cool $5,500 for her time.

However, while she says the money is a “bonus” she claims it costs a lot to do what she does.

“If I’m charging the top-end price - which is probably one of the most expensive in Australia - then I have to look top end,” she said.

“I can’t just turn up with bitten nails I have to have a manicure every week.

“I have to have a $50 pedicure every week, my hair has to perfect, my skin has to be good, lingerie has to be good.

“It cost a lot of money to be a high-end escort.”
